We offer career coaching, job search services, resume review and editing, interview preparation, and compensation negotiation for attorneys. We have partnered with a growing and innovative startup in its search for a Chief Legal Officer (CLO).

• This is an exciting opportunity to join a company focused on clean energy engineering, manufacturing, and distribution. The company specializes in designing novel clean energy technologies that create dynamic, community-based solutions aimed at increasing energy independence.
• Company was founded by individuals driven to help solve the supply and demand energy gap, increase access to renewable energy for low-income groups, and expand supply to areas in need.
• Builds new ways to meet clean energy production needs for residential, small business, commercial, industrial, and city-grid scale renewable power needs.
• The CLO will have the ability to grow their own team as well as be an integral part of the executive level team
• Work-life balance: 40-hour work week
• Fully remote

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-approved law school
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the State Bar of any U.S. state
• 10+ years of experience in corporate law (M&A, corporate governance), intellectual property, contracts, risk management and compliance
• 5+ years of experience in the clean energy/renewable energy manufacturing and/or technology sectors
• 4+ years in a supervisory, management, or leadership role

Strategic, creative problem-solver and risk-taker with a great imagination

Experience with international legal issues, cross-border transactions

Base salary range: $240,000 -- $350,000
