Vice President of Contract Services

Job Description:

As Vice President Operations Contract Services, you will be responsible for the oversight of all mobile crews. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Directing sites on process improvements and strategies around operational changes
• Work with management team to maintain or exceed production goals and customer requirements
• Training and mentoring regional managers/site supervisors/hourly personnel and assisting in operational personnel training and evaluations. Establish and implement companywide training programs. Coordinate with the Safety Director and Quality Director, with the ultimate responsibility within the company to ensure all aspects of training, both administrative and field implementation are strictly adhered to
• Work with site supervisors to exceed budget and operational expectations and maximize productivity while operating safely
• Assist in personnel reviews and staffing requirements in alignment with budgets and production expectations
• Determine site requirements and ensure sites are equipped with necessary and effective tools, equipment, supplies, and processes. Auditing of same
• As required, assist in new site development and review
• Ensure all site programs are communicated and adhered to
• Ensure standardization between all sites
• Overnight travel will be required as the business dictates up to 75%

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred. Extensive experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

​

· Prior experience in mechanical railcar repair or inspection preferred.

​

· Basic knowledge of FRA and AAR inspection and repair requirements.
