The Position

The Business Development/Contract Manager position is a remote position that plays an important role with this rapidly growing company. The position will be the key member of service team. This is a customer facing position will lead the development and maintenance for Contract in North America and South America.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Review Service requirements within MSA and LTSA with customers.
  • Coordinate with Sales team non-standard terms within the contracts.
  • Manage, review, and coordinate contract changes or proposed edits.
  • Review Service prices with Service Management team and create standard prices sheets to all the service offers.
  • Coordinate with Operation and Maintenance departments any special requirements for O&M service agreements for PV and Battery storage solution.
  • Coordinate with Internal legal department about the details and interpretation of the Service contracts.
  • Ensure that scope elements requested in the contracted SOW and supporting Exhibits reflect costs captured in the final fee development exercise
  • Seek confirmation of approvals for any bespoke scope element or changes to standard scope language.
  • Assist in the maintenance and updating of the terms and conditions of the Base Agreements, supporting Exhibits, and other contract documents.
  • Work with other members of Service and Sales to identify best practices and recommend process changes that will improve effectiveness of the process.
  • Create and Maintain databases with contract requirements for Service and O&M.
  • Present final contract to the Service organization to be able to achieve the contract requirements.
  • Be part of the escalation path from customers with contracts changes or issues.
  • Maintain great communication to anticipate any issues or any new requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to get spare parts list, manual and documentation to be provided to customers.
  • Collaborate with the Service team on new markets, and possible service offers.

Qualifications

  • Familiar with global service Organization and service contracts
  • Be able to manage customer in different countries with different expectations
  • Great communications skills (written and oral)
  • Act like owner; protect forecasted revenue and gross margin as we move to contract with clients for services and fees

  • Detail-oriented with ability to understand nuances of opportunities and dependent services
  • Analytical self-starter with strong attention to detail
  • Able to perform under the pressure and tight schedule
  • Able to work on a fast pace, dynamic and multicultural environment
  • Good understanding of sales and project execution process. 
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; able to work on multiple complex projects in diverse areas
  • Proficient experience with MS Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint), and/or other software.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of sales administration and management is required.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of contract management is required.
  • Previous experience in Service and renewable industry is a plus
  • Travel with sales as needed to provide sales support.
  • Minimal bachelor’s degree in Business Management or similar.

For candidates in the states of California, Colorado, New York and Washington, the anticipated annual base salary for this role is between $75,000 - $130,000 This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The base salary offered is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, education, location, or other factors related to the role.
