Senior Director, Compliance And Ethics Operations
Position Summary...We seek authentic leader and motivated initiative-taker to lead our Ethics and Compliance program for Walmart Sourcing Operations. This global role will be responsible for all non-supplier Ethics and Compliance programs for Walmart Sourcing’s global footprint. With the right mix of confidence and humility, you will work with global subject matter experts in areas as diverse as anti-trust, license and permits, health and safety, privacy, and labor and employment, among others to understand risks in Walmart Sourcing operations and lead compliance programs to mitigate them. Leading a small team and leveraging additional global resources, you will enable our sourcing organization to achieve their ambitions in a way that is legally compliance and consistent with our values and Code of Conduct.

- Building and Enhancing Compliance Programs:
- Understanding non-supplier related ethics and compliance risks for Walmart Sourcing operations globally.
- Driving compliance program design and execution supporting non-supplier related subject matters.
- Identifying program gaps and driving continuous improvement.
- Preparing reports for sourcing and Ethics and Compliance leadership as needed.
- Communicating risks and advising on mitigation strategies.
- Aligning company compliance and ethics strategy with sourcing strategies and goals.
- Analyzing Business Objectives and Customer Needs:
- Developing and communicating business strategies, plans, and practices.
- Determining and supporting resource requirements.
- Evaluating operational processes and measuring outcomes to ensure desired results.

Compliance and Ethics

What you’ll bring…
The ideal candidate would have more than 10 years of experience in both sourcing/merchandising and compliance or a related field (legal, internal audit, quality). However, qualified candidates may only have experience in one of these fields but show a strong interest in the other. Candidates who bring experience and success in working across complex organizations, establishing trusted relationships with business partners, working well across diverse cultures in a global environment, and moving with speed to deliver results will be particularly well suited to this role. To succeed in a rapidly evolving internal and external environment, strong candidates will demonstrate a curiosity and continuous learning orientation either through their education or career choices and work behaviors.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00
Additional Compensation Includes Annual Or Quarterly Performance Bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field and 7 years’ experience in human resources, ethics and compliance, corporate communications, or related area OR 9 years’ experience in human resources, ethics and compliance, corporate communications, or related area.
2 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams.
4 years’ supervisory experience.
