Senior Contract Negotiator

Job Description:

Foreign bank seeking legal professional to draft negotiate and prepare various documents including ISDA Master Agreement, Credit Support Annexes, Repurchase Agreements, Securities Lending Agreements, Custodial Undertakings and ancillary documents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and negotiate ISDA Master Agreement, Credit Support Annexes, PSA Master Repurchase Agreement, ISMA Global Master Repurchase Agreement, Master Securities Loan Agreement, Custodial Agreement in connection with securities lending and repurchase agreements and Dodd-Frank related master agreements as required.
• Liaise with Credit and Trading/Sales to accurately reflect in agreements the necessary credit and business terms of the relationship.
• Respond to operations departments regarding material terms of agreements which will be put into daily practice.
• Interface with various counterparties in order to facilitate the negotiation process.
• Deliver effective support for transaction execution and all related agreements and documentation for relevant businesses and related support projects.
• Ensure that all transactions and related agreements and documentation handled by Legal comply with applicable laws and that any necessary legal advice is obtained either from within Legal or from outside law firms.
• Assist attorneys with various documentation and projects.
