Job Description:

A consultancy are looking for a Senior Contract Negotiator to join the team. You’ll negotiate business terms, service-level agreements, pricing details, and legal terms for multi-year technology and service contracts.

You will be working on multi-million dollar contracts and using your knowledge to create substantial savings for your clients.

This role has been created to support the recent influx of business which requires additional expertise and resources to manage the increasing volume of deals.

Responsibilities of the Senior Contract Negotiator:

  • Negotiate contracts on behalf of Credit Unions and Community Banks
  • Evaluate client’s current invoices and existing contracts to capture relevant business terms, dates, and pricing.
  • Request and evaluate new vendor pricing and contract terms based on client strategies and specific business needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by uncovering and analyzing client needs, providing and recommending solutions, and guiding the process with internal key stakeholders to achieve clients’ goals and objectives.
  • Oversee multiple aspects of the negotiation process to ensure smooth progress and successful outcomes.

Requirements of the Senior Contract Negotiator:

  • In-depth knowledge of core banking systems, software, and services relevant to community banks and credit unions, with a solid understanding of associated outsourced technology (ASP) contracts
  • Previous expertise and employment history with any current core, IT, fintech supplier, merchant services (ISOs) to banks or credit unions.
  • Experience in negotiating with vendors such as Fiserv, FIS, Jack Henry & Associates, Q2, Digital Insight, Elan, Worldpay, and First Data is highly desirable.
  • Experience working for a payment processing company such as Jack Henry, Vantiv, FIS, Fiserv, Adyen ect.

The salary for this role is $90,000, alongside a generous commission scheme. You will receive a % of the value of each of the contracts that you negotiate. The OTE for this role is approximately $250,000 (uncapped) after year 1.
