Operations Manager
About the role
The Operations Manager owns the systems, processes, and cross-functional execution that keep engineering, product, and go-to-market teams running smoothly in a fast-scaling environment.
This role sits at the center of operational planning: designing workflows, managing tooling, tracking initiatives to completion, and turning operational data into decisions leadership can act on.
Key responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve core operational processes across onboarding, resource planning, and internal workflows, documenting SOPs in Notion or Confluence.
- Drive cross-functional projects end-to-end, managing timelines, dependencies, and owners using Asana, Linear, or Jira.
- Build and maintain operational dashboards in Looker, Tableau, or Google Sheets to track KPIs like cycle time, utilization, and process throughput.
- Manage operational tooling stack and vendor relationships, including procurement, renewals, and access management.
- Partner with Finance and People teams on headcount planning, budget tracking, and quarterly business reviews.
- Identify bottlenecks through data analysis and process observation, then design and implement measurable improvements.
- Prepare operational reports and risk summaries for leadership, surfacing issues before they escalate.
What we are looking for
- 4-7 years of operations, program, or project management experience, ideally at a growth-stage technology company.
- Proven ability to run multiple cross-functional initiatives concurrently and ship measurable process improvements.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools (Asana, Jira, Linear) and BI/dashboarding tools (Looker, Tableau).
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable modeling in spreadsheets and interpreting operational data independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to align stakeholders across engineering, product, and finance.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Bonus: experience with OKR planning cycles, SQL for ad-hoc analysis, or M&A/integration operations.
