About the Opportunity:
The Legal Operations Specialist role focuses on enhancing legal department efficiency by designing and implementing strategic operational improvements. This position is responsible for managing legal operations processes, introducing new technologies including AI and contract lifecycle management tools, and supporting clients in optimizing their legal workflows. The role contributes significantly by streamlining contracting systems and improving overall legal operations performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and map legal operations processes for clients.
- Develop new processes and create implementation roadmaps.
- Assist clients in evaluating contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools.
- Implement AI tools and expand their usage within legal teams.
- Create and maintain resources on operational procedures.
- Improve contracting systems, including template development and deployment.
- Support project coordination and process management activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in legal operations optimizing in-house legal workflows.
- Familiarity with legal department key performance indicators.
- Experience in budget and spend management, including e-billing.
- Hands-on experience with CLM tool implementation.
- Experience with AI technology integration.
- Proficient in software implementation and system integration.
- Strong background with legal operations technology and software.
- Preferred: Experience with the Ironclad CLM tool.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Estimated total compensation ranges from $104,500 to $325,000 per year for attorney roles, and $71,250 to $309,750 per year for non-attorney roles.
- Compensation is based on factors including experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
