About The Role

Our client is looking for a Legal Operations Manager to join the quickly scaling team of a company committed to simplifying access to high-quality, affordable mental health care. Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, this role will collaboratively support and drive operational excellence within the legal team, enhancing overall effectiveness and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about refining legal operations within a high-growth startup environment and adept at fostering positive relationships across the organization. The role requires hands-on expertise in managing day-to-day workflows, providing strategic guidance, and overseeing project and contract management.

What you'll do:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee efficient legal operations, including metrics reporting, dashboarding, contract lifecycle management, and workflow management.
  • Design, manage, and facilitate legal enablement tools for internal stakeholders, such as templates, legal playbooks, and FAQs.
  • Draft legal contracts, correspondence, and other documents.
  • Manage the legal team budgeting process.
  • Project manage critical initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Track legal department objectives, create metrics, and analyze data aligned with key strategic goals.

Who you are:

  • Possess 5-7 years of in-house legal operations and contracts management experience.
  • Have at least 1 year of practical knowledge in technology systems, including contract lifecycle management.
  • Proficient in using project management tools like Asana to enhance legal department efficiency.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business needs into system tasks and workflows.
  • Interest in learning various tools supporting in-house legal teams, including cutting-edge technologies.
