About The Job
Homeville Consulting Private Limited is hiring a Legal Manager to handle legal functions with a focus on mortgage-related matters and the affordable housing finance sector.
Eligibility
Qualification
- LL.B. from a reputed law college
Experience
- 3–5 years of relevant experience
Skills & Requirements
- Strong non-litigation experience in mortgages
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
- Knowledge of Marathi, Hindi, or any regional language would be an added advantage
Responsibilities
- Provide legal assistance to the company
- Conduct due diligence of properties to be mortgaged
- Review LSR/TSR and provide legal opinions
- Conduct property searches and prepare search reports
- Carry out legal due diligence for creation of mortgage (equitable/registered/extension) across India
- Prepare mortgage documentation
- Assist internal teams with legal queries, documentation, and stamp duty matters
