We're growing—and seeking a Marketing Consultant with eDiscovery expertise to help amplify our brand, generate leads, and drive business growth in a highly competitive and rapidly evolving space.
Position Overview
As an eDiscovery Marketing Consultant, you will lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives tailored to the legal technology and litigation support sectors. You’ll collaborate closely with senior leadership, sales management, and technical experts to build brand visibility, increase lead generation, and communicate the value of vdiscovery’s services to our target audiences. Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Create and execute a marketing strategy aligned with vdiscovery’s business goals, market positioning, and growth objectives.
- Content Marketing: Develop thought leadership content including blog posts, client case studies, white papers, email campaigns, and social media updates that resonate with legal professionals.
- Lead Generation: Design and implement targeted lead gen campaigns using digital channels (LinkedIn, SEO, paid media, email, etc.), with a focus on law firms and corporate legal departments.
- Collateral Development: Create and update marketing materials such as service brochures, presentations, one-pagers, and pitch decks for use by the sales team.
- Event Marketing: Support industry conference participation, client roundtables, webinars, and CLE events—from planning to promotion and follow-up.
- CRM & Analytics: Work with the CRM and sales teams to track campaign performance, analyze metrics, and optimize outreach efforts.
- Competitive Intelligence: Stay up to date on eDiscovery trends, competitor activity, and market shifts to inform marketing efforts and positioning.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and messaging across all touchpoints.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of proven experience developing and executing B2B marketing strategies—preferably in legal tech, eDiscovery, or professional services
- Strong understanding of the eDiscovery lifecycle, legal services market, and litigation support technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to legal audiences
- Experience managing digital marketing tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar
- Ability to collaborate across teams and work independently with minimal supervision
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and results-focused
Preferred:
- Experience working directly with sales teams on marketing-sourced pipeline generation
- Prior work at or with law firms, legal vendors, or litigation consulting firms
- Familiarity with TAR, AI document review, or data analytics in the context of discovery
- Basic design or video editing skills for content creation (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)
