eDiscovery Consultant

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated eDiscovery Consultant to join our Consulting Services team. In this role, you will report to the Director of Consulting Services and collaborate closely with Consulting team members, eDiscovery project managers, and clients to execute complex technical eDiscovery tasks. You will oversee high-level analytics projects and provide clients with best practices and technical guidance to optimize complex workflows.

DESCRIPTION

• Support the processing, reviewing, and analyzing of electronic documents and data related to eDiscovery.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and senior consultants to develop and implement effective eDiscovery strategies, including technology-assisted review (TAR), predictive coding, and generative AI review.
• Utilize eDiscovery software and tools to efficiently manage, transform, and organize data.
• Assist in the creation and management of document review databases.
• Generate detailed reports and summaries based on data analysis and review results.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all eDiscovery activities and processes.
• Communicate effectively with legal teams and clients to understand their requirements and provide timely updates on project status.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards in all data handling practices.
• Continuously learn and stay updated on eDiscovery best practices and industry advancements.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for eDiscovery tools and platforms.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to deepen your understanding of eDiscovery processes and technologies. 
• Contribute to the timely and accurate completion of eDiscovery projects within budget constraints.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Knowledge of MS Office applications required 
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines 
• Excellent customer service skills with clear, concise written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated ability to learn new software and processes quickly.
• Exceptional critical-thinking skills with the capacity to prioritize and execute numerous tasks under tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to accommodate non-standard work hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant eDiscovery or technical experience
• One to three years 
• 1-3 years of eDiscovery or technical experience required; vendor experience preferred

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of SQL, Python, C#, and/or Visual Basic
• Experience with technology-assisted review (TAR) or predictive coding, both in execution and guiding clients.
• Experience with review databases, analytics, and processing applications (e.g., Relativity, Brainspace, CS Disco, Everlaw, Nuix Discover, etc.)
