Job Description

As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of government contracts, ensuring compliance with federal regulations (FAR/DFARS), developing and reviewing pricing strategies, and maintaining accurate documentation within our current environment. Additionally, lead in the conversion to a full Unanet based EPR system. This position is ideal for someone who has deep experience in federal contracting, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing contracts and related systems. You will report to the Chief Experience Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of contracts from proposal through closeout  
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, modifications, and subcontracts  
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations  
  • Support pricing activities, including cost proposal development and pricing strategies  
  • Act as the lead for the conversion of contract-related activities: input, reporting, audits, and forecasting into a Unanet EPR.  
  • Coordinate with project managers, finance, and business development to align contract execution with company goals  
  • Monitor contract performance and maintain proper documentation for audits  
  • Assist in preparing for and responding to DCAA/DCMA audits and reviews  
  • Maintain and update contract database and internal trackers  

The annual base salary range for this role is $80,000-$100,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field  
  •  5+ years of experience in government contracting or contract administration  
  •  In-depth knowledge of federal contracting regulations (FAR/DFARS)  
  •  Strong pricing and cost proposal experience  
  • Previous exposure to small or mid-size GovCon environments  
  •  Excellent organizational and communication skills  
  •  Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently  
  •  U.S. Citizenship required due to government contract requirements  
  •  Local to the DMV area (hybrid or in-office as needed)  

Desired Skills

  • Experience with different contract types: CPFF, T&M, FFP  
  • Knowledge of Unanet and other ERP or accounting tools is a plus
