Summary

The Contracts Manager oversees the contract administration and compliance aspects of the Operational and Program Support Services contract. This role ensures adherence to all federal procurement regulations, supports task order execution, and manages communications with the contracting office.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

  •  Administer and track contract deliverables, task orders, and compliance documents. 
  •  Coordinate with Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) on task order modifications. 
  •  Ensure submission of accurate monthly invoices and financial documentation. 
  •  Monitor performance standards and escalate issues as needed. 
  •  Participate in audits, data calls, and post-award conferences. 

Skills And Qualifications

  •  In-depth understanding of FAR, IDIQ, T&M, and labor hour contract types. 
  •  Strong attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines. 
  •  Ability to interpret and implement contract clauses and modifications. 

Education & Experience

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Contract Management, Business, or related field. 
  •  Minimum of 5 years of experience managing federal contracts in a support service environment. 

 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY 

May supervise contract support or administrative staff related to documentation and invoicing.

 WORK ENVIRONMENT 

Office environment or remote setting in coordination with DOC acquisition offices.

 PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

Standard office demands including sitting, typing, and document review.

 ROLE/LOCATION SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

DOC Headquarters in Washington, DC with possible interactions across DOC regional bureaus.

 POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK 

Full-time, core business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel for program reviews or federal contract meetings.

Clearance/License Requirements

Must be eligible for CAC issuance and pass DOC and Federal background checks.
