Contract Analyst
Job Description
This role is pivotal within the aerospace supply chain, responsible for leading contract analysis, negotiation, execution, and lifecycle management of complex civil and military contracts. The position consistently applies commercial knowledge and acumen for process improvement and enhancing the commercial capabilities of the business. Additionally, the role requires a working knowledge of trade/export compliance regulations and experience with US Government contracting regulations (FAR and DFAR).
Responsibilities
- Analyze and negotiate bids and sales activities, contributing to 30% of the role.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, accounting for another 30% of responsibilities.
- Manage the full lifecycle of commercial contracts, focusing on achieving strong long-term financial performance.
- Implement functional improvements in tools and processes, which is 10% of the role.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience in B2B Contract Management/Contract Analysis within a highly regulated environment.
- Proven track record in negotiating high-value, complex commercial agreements.
- Experience analyzing financial risk, liability, and limitations.
- Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office software.
- Eligibility for ITAR compliance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree preferred.
- Additional education such as Law certificates (LLB) is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of Trade/Export compliance regulations.
- Experience with US Government contracting regulations (FAR and DFAR).
- Experience in OE (original equipment) Manufacturing and Aerospace industry segments.
Work Environment
This position requires on-site work Monday through Thursday, 4x10-hour shifts, with occasional overtime on Fridays. The dress code is suitable for a manufacturing facility, allowing jeans. The work environment encourages collaboration and accountability, with an emphasis on situational adaptability and achieving results under challenging circumstances.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
