A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Compliance Process Automation Specialist for Processes & Tools, you will play a pivotal role in transforming process requirements into effective tools, working closely with global compliance teams to improve our compliance system. Your role will involve spearheading the digitalization and automation of processes, identifying and designing compliance processes within key initiatives. Project involvement is a significant aspect of your role, with a focus on the development of new tools, applications, process automation, and visualization, including their implementation and associated change management. You will serve as a liaison with IT and external service providers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You are responsible for translating process requirements into tools, working with colleagues from the global compliance organization to continuously improve Siemens Energy’s compliance system.
  • You will drive the digitalization and automation of processes at Siemens Energy and work in respective initiatives to identify and design compliance processes.
  • You will work on projects for new tools, applications, process automation and visualization, including their implementation and the associated change management.
  • You are an interface to IT and external service providers.
  • You will be part of the global team and also have the opportunity to engage in regular Compliance activities in the various Countries from the Eastern Europe Sub-region.

What You Bring

  • A degree in business administration, law, industrial engineering, IT management, or a related field, or an equivalent educational background.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project and process management, coupled with professional exposure in Compliance domains such as export control or data privacy.
  • Proficiency in English (C1), both verbal and written. Knowledge of German and/or other languages is an advantage.
  • Experience with Tableau, SQL, or Javascript is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Exceptional ability to comprehend and analyze complex technical and legal scenarios, simplify intricate information, and convert it into actionable solutions.
  • A team player persona with a heightened sense of intercultural sensitivity, enabling smooth functioning in diverse environments.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly, while being creative and open to new ideas.

Within Siemens Energy, our team is part of the international Legal & Compliance Governance, Processes, Tools & Operations organization. Located in Erlangen and Munich, we have a central function. Our responsibility is to implement legal requirements into our internal processes and tools. This ensures that Siemens Energy complies with all applicable compliance-related requirements globally.
