As we gear up to launch our MVP, we’re looking for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to join our founding team and help us navigate the evolving legal landscape of DFS, gaming, and fintech.

About the Role
As Chief Compliance Officer, you’ll be the company’s first compliance leader and legal strategist. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring that Beat The Odds operates legally and ethically across all relevant jurisdictions — from fantasy gaming laws and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations to data privacy and bar-level partnerships.

Responsibilities
• Research and interpret U.S. state-by-state regulations for DFS, P2P gaming, and sweepstakes
• Develop and manage the company’s overall compliance and risk strategy
• Oversee and implement AML/KYC policies, terms of service, and responsible gaming features
• Work with technical teams to ensure backend systems meet data security and compliance standards
• Lead state filings, licensing needs, and attorney partnerships (as applicable)
• Draft or review contracts and help maintain legal documentation
• Ensure proper disclosures, disclaimers, and user policies across digital platforms and bar integrations
• Prepare compliance frameworks for eventual launch in international markets
• Collaborate with the CEO and investors to ensure transparency and legal readiness for fundraising

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in legal, compliance, gaming law, or regulatory affairs
• Strong knowledge of U.S. DFS laws and/or fintech/crypto/entertainment law
• Experience in early-stage startup environments preferred
• Familiarity with bar/kiosk licensing, payments, or sweepstakes is a bonus
• Ability to translate legal concepts into practical operational processes
• Entrepreneurial mindset and high ownership mentality
