Immigration Legal Assistant
The ideal candidate will ensure smooth running of the office and effective case management by providing legal services under the supervision of an attorney. This individual will communicate frequently with the clients in order to serve them adequately. Additionally, this candidate will conduct necessary case research to aid the legal proceedings.
In addition to the languages Spanish / English mandatory and then French or Portuguese (one or the other is required) the firm needs someone with at least three years employment-based legal assistant immigration experience.
This is not a remote position. Law Office is in the downtown Orlando area. Parking is free.
Hours: 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., from Monday to Friday.
Paid Time Off: 10 days of PTO per year.
Holidays: The following days are paid recognized holidays which are: Martin Luther King, Washington’s birthday, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth National Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thursday and Black Friday of Thanksgiving week; Christmas Eve and Christmas day when they fall on work days; New Year’s Day.

Office closes early on Fridays at 2.30pm in March, August and December.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience as a legal assistant in an immigration law firm
- English/Spanish required, and either French or Portuguese language speaking required
- MUST HAVE familiarity with immigration law, legal procedures, and protocols
